OUR STORY
ArtSavon is a soap manufactory located in the south of the tiny Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
My name is Denise, the creative head as well as the busy hand behind ArtSavon.
I made my first batch of soap in 2012, after educating myself for months and learning everything there was to know about ingredients, handling lye, gel phase and curing time. Since this very first time, I'm totally hooked on making and using my own soap and I have never again bought a bottle of the chemical loaded nasty stuff they still sell at the grocery store.
On this website, that I hope I will find the time to maintain, I will share my musings on my life as a soaper and even a little more, maybe an occasional rant or a beautiful picture that I think worth sharing.
